Issue #8765: The Journeys Issue with Simon Roberts, Lorenzo Vitturi, Jonas Bendiksen, Lucas Foglia & Martin Parr

Journeys

We go on the road across Merrie Albion with Simon Roberts. Lorenzo Vitturi swaps Ridley Road market in East London for Balogun in downtown Lagos.  Jonas Bendiksen goes in search of Jesus, tracking down seven modern-day Messiahs. We join Lucas Foglia on his globetrotting exploration of man's yearning for wilderness.
We visit Martin Parr at his new home in Bristol. Paris is our destination for November, when the world's premier photography fair hits town again. Jody Daunton invites us in on the commissioning process of his outdoor lifestyle magazine, Another Escape. Plus, we bring you five travel-themed portfolios in Projects (taking in everything from the lost kingdom of Kyrgystan to the holiday coastlines of Belgium and Puglia). In Agenda, we take you to India, Saddleworth Moor and Camp Gitmo. Our camera for review if the versatile, take-anywhere Panasonic GH5. And in Personal Archives, we chat to Emmet Gowin about moth hunting in South America.
